One of the most missed traditions of the past few years has been the Summer Ball. This year the Friends of DCSF did themselves proud with a return to form. With welcome drinks sponsored by Scrimager and Oakes, the evening got of to a great start with illusionist Dave Dimond and Harry the Sax. The Champaign Raffle and Table Raffle raised just under £2,000 for the Friends- thank you to everyone who donated prizes . Old Dunelmian John Adamson provided the excellent four course meal, while Nicola Foster Hird OD supplied the bar. Pulp Function played an incredible live set. The School Song was sung before carriages home just before 1am. A number of ODs and parents were seen in school the next day collecting lost items including Dinner Jackets, sparkling high heel shoes and a set of car keys clearly a good night was had by all! |
